Automotive of York, Inc. is a locally owned family business that began servicing York County in 1947. Currently, Automotive of York's 2nd generation owns and operates seven NAPA Auto Parts Stores in York, Cumberland, and Franklin Counties, located in South Central Pennsylvania.
Dr. Earl Bower founded his first NAPA Auto Parts store in Red Lion, Pennsylvania in 1947, shortly after returning from Europe, following World War II. In September of 1991, Dr. Bower sold his three NAPA stores to Mullen Walton, Jr.
Mullen purchased the stores because of NAPA's brand recognition, along with its reputation for quality parts and NAPA Know How.
At Automotive of York, we have two machine shops with four machinists with over 150 years of combined experience. We also have access to agricultural, heavy duty, marine, and paint supplies.
Customers tell us that we have the knowledge and experience to get them the right parts they need when they need them. We pride ourselves on doing what is right for our customers.
Today, Cary and Braden Walton, Mullen's sons, along with an extraordinary team provide exceptional service to their customers. Automotive of York looks forward to many more years serving this great community.
